XD-T008

T008 is a tube condenser microphone featuring 9 different polar patterns. Patterns are remotely selectable on the custom power supply for ease of use in even the most demanding applications. The patterns include omni, figure-8，cardioid, and 6 intermediate stages. Two slide switches located on the microphone body below the head grill control the low-frequency roll-off and sensitivity reduction. SYT-5 uses 1.07 inch larger capsule. The tube preamplifier circuit uses lower noise 6072a vacuum tube. The transformer uses LUNDAHL from Sweden. It has the desirable fat bottom end response and very low self-noise. This microphone has a warm tone characteristic of vintage tube microphones that vocalists and studio engineers have come to love.
